Requirements
Before entering the program, students must:
- Complete all required activity in the Career Preparation Period, including Career Exploration and Career Success/Workplace Skills.
- Passing score in the arduous level of a Pack Test of (a) aerobic capacity, (b) muscular strength, and (c) muscular endurance.
- Ability to work in steep terrain and in extreme temperatures, altitude, and in smoky conditions while maintaining the ability to meet emergencies.
- Meet basic academic requirements in math and reading.
- Have a valid certification in basic first aid and CPR.
